Sustaining safety as a cultural value
Overview
Our client, a major global manufacturer, needed a way to sustain their existing culture of safety and innovation in existing employees and to assimilate new hires into that culture. They wanted to encapsulate their safety program, philosophy, culture, and working procedures into a single program that would reinforce the safety as a cultural value for existing employees and assimilate new employees into the culture. The audience was a mix of roles within the organization that had varying degrees of access to technology. Therefore, the solution needed to be flexible enough to bring learning to plant workers as well as leaders and executives.
We designed a blended learning program consists of micro-learning modules, inspirational and documentary style videos, and discussion activities that take place over the course of 5+ weeks. The solution was the final piece of the companies multi-phased rollout of workplace safety and innovation training—designed to foster and nurture the companies safety culture.
